Picnic was established in 2016 by Michelle Morrow to offer a healthy and ethical alternative to other Merchant City eateries. With a focus on fresh, whole, organic food and cruelty free ingredients, Picnic provides its customers with refreshing, delicious food in an airy, stylish and comfortable environment.
At Picnic we also try to be as green as possible, so we only use recycled or fully biodegradable packaging. Whether you’re looking for a filling, wholesome lunch or simply coffee and a cake, Picnic is the place to visit. We are fully accessible and dogs are welcome (with well behaved owners).

We all know eating well is important to our health but that doesn’t need to mean it isn’t delicious! At Picnic, we love our food and we want to share this passion with our customers. Food and drinks served at Picnic are entirely animal free and made using fresh, whole ingredients.
We offer a great selection of salads, wraps and bagels, as well as sweet treats like hand made cakes and scones. We also offer great breakfast options – including a full cooked breakfast on weekends – to help get your day off to the best possible start.

All food and drinks served at Picnic are 100% animal free. None of our food or drinks contains meat, fish, dairy products or eggs.

We source as many of our ingredients as possible locally and from ethical, sustainable sources. We prepare as much food as we can on the premises, so it’s as fresh as possible on your plate.

At Picnic, our food is simple, delicious, fresh and from tried and trusted homemade recipes. We serve only the food we love to eat ourselves.

Picnic offers a wide selection of hot beverages, including freshly ground coffee and a choice of rejuvenating teas. We also offer a choice of freshly made, energising fruit juices and delicious smoothies. For those in a rush, there’s also a choice of ready to go drinks from the fridge.
